Heidi's Crafting Mecca

This card is so simple and has such a WOW factor! I made this card by running a piece of patterned paper through my BIG SHOT using the ELEGANT BOUQUET EMBOSSING FOLDER. I then lightly sanded the flowers to give them the white, distressed look. The image came from the RAZZLE DAZZLE stamp set! This is another quick card that we made at my Holiday Stamp-a-Stack. If you live in the New York City area and would love to come to my classes, click here! This card is using the SASSY SPARKLES Stampin' Wheel from the HOLIDAY MINI CATALOG. We also used the MERRY EMBOSSLITS for the amazing BIG SHOT to cut that embossed tag for the card. I love taking a a sanding block and rubbing it lightly over the word MERRY. That distresses just the word a little bit which makes it stand out on the tag. Simple and really cute!

I love, love, love CHOCOLATE CHIP and use it as often as possible. This is definitely an example of a well-loved stamp pad! I stamped this great stamp on VERY VANILLA cardstock.
I tied a sweet little bow and wrapped it around CHOCOLATE CHIP cardstock and our new AUTUMN MEADOWS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER.

Popped the stamped image on TAKEN WITH TEAL cardstock and added a chocolate chip corduroy button...a bit of twine and it's done!

I am so excited to be able to introduce this elegant and SIMPLE card as my first project of the RemARKables Blog Tour! This card uses the Textured Impressions Folder called Petals-a-Plenty and the GORGEOUS Sleigh Bells Ribbon! Both of these items can be found in the BRAND NEW (drool-worthy) HOLIDAY MINI CATALOG!

The stamp set is one of the stamps found in the Level One Hostess Set called Holiday Best! I love the elegant lines and really enjoyed coloring the stamp with our markers!

I love this stamp set, BIRD ON A BRANCH! I just received it at a meetup at my friend and downline, Laurel's. It is beautiful and so useful. I decided to use it with the new LOOK HERE POP UP DIE. I cut off the arrows and added birds!

This is another fun WOW card which was made using mostly brand new Stampin' Up! products. I am in love with the new IN COLORS especially Rich Razzleberry.


The inside of this card would have extra POP so I tried to keep the outside very simple and streamlined. Too busy on the front means TOO busy all around. I usually like designs that are pretty streamlined.


This cake card was created using the CAKE POP UP DIE from Stampin' Up! It is so much fun to use and quite easy--once you get the hang out it. The nice thing is that Stampin' Up! provided full color instructions inside the package and a video with great instructions.

This card was done by cutting a piece out acetate using the Top Note die for the Big Shot. I then used brown paint on the back of the acetate and sprinkled it with Stampin' Up! Glitter. One the front of the acetate, I rubbed a rub-on from the Lovely Flowers Level 3 Hostess Bundle. This card was fun and very easy to do. What I love most is that the acetate takes on a wooden look.

Today, I had one of my FAVORITE monthly events, Stamp-a-Stack. At this event, stampers pay $20 to make 20 cards! What a deal! If you go to most stores, cards will run $3-$5 for ONE card. We had a great time today with our stamping marathon and stampers left with a stack of cards and a SMILE on their faces.

Today, was the exciting Glass Etching Class! We had a full house at The Mecca with 8 stampers. Each person had the opportunity to made a large, glass candle holder and an etched mirror. This mirror was made by a new meetup member, Geddar. She was such a pleasure to meet and craft with and she made a gorgeous etched mirror.
